This apt/house sleeps 7 people – 6 in 3 double bedrooms and 1 in a single room.
A fabulously expensive conversion from the beauty of the old style French belle –époque house to a contemporary, custom-designed, ultra-modern one, while maintaining the elegance and charm of the old and installing every feature of modern life that we have come to associate with luxury in the new version.
One spectacular feature of this very spacious house – it is 3-storey’s high including the roof terrace – is the 6-person hot- tub, under the cover of a canvas awning and shielded with a privacy fence, on the roof! This tree top recreation area has a dining table and 8 chairs, a barbeque, and sun loungers as well as the pool and this outdoor space will prove the star feature of all the places the house has to offer to gather and relax , or eat under the night sky, or simply party!
Entering into the tiled foyer through the double antique wooden doors, there is a small paved courtyard off, with table and chairs for that quiet coffee in the mornings. From this cool quiet entry you move on into the spectacular double height living area, shown to perfection in the gleam of the refinished, original hardwood floors! The combination dining and living room has a sitting area with custom designed and comfortable sofas and chairs around a coffee table facing a TV in the center of a wall unit. There are huge windows with shutters to the street and they provide daylight - or shade the room in the middle of summer. Here there are many works of art on display, and there are many more choice pieces, chosen with the discerning eye of the owner of the house, and displayed to great advantage in this magnificent property.
The wooden dining table has 8 chairs and on one wall a hand-crafted credenza in native wood to match the table and chairs, which are upholstered in leather, and a hanging light above the table for a great ambience at dinner time. The gourmet kitchen is close by in the L-shaped room, and it has a serving counter – or breakfast bar - between the dining area and kitchen, the counters are stainless steel, modern and sleek and elegant, as are all the appliances: including a cooker with hood, a fridge, microwave and lots of cabinets and storage places for all the dishes and stemware needed for entertaining in style!
There is a comfortable, spacious single bedroom on the ground floor and a full bathroom. On the next level, up the wooden stairs, are 2 more bedrooms, both doubles, a master with its own private bath, and the other with a hall bath to be shared with the third double bedroom which is on the third floor, by the roof terrace. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished in neutral colors and has lots of room and closet space – in fact the master has a hidden room of closet space and shelves, and each of the bathrooms is luxuriously fitted in stone ware, and is the epitome of modern design.
On the top floor, along with access to the roof is the computer –or business area - with adequate space for several people to be at the computer desk at the same time, or enjoying the sitting area, a comfy sofa and coffee table at this level. Here you will also find a powder room for ease of access from the terrace, and the laundry room fitted with a washer and dryer.
This is a very spacious house with lots of sitting areas, and plenty of room for ‘get togethers’ or private space, and located right in the heart of Palermo, one of the centers of action of Buenos Aires!
