In a distinctive modern building – which received a write up in the NY Times – this apartment is just right for those who want to be close to the center of everything! The building is located in Recoleta near some of the most famous monuments in Buenos Aires, including the cemetery where Evita Peron is interred.

Situated on the 7th floor, you can sit at the table and chairs on the balcony over-looking one of the main Avenidas of the city, and enjoy the evening breeze and the sounds of the tango from the restaurants nearby. This apartment has everything you will need for a short - or long – vacation, or a business visit. There is a video phone to the main entrance, and remote door- opening for your convenience, for visitors or delivery – a famous feature of life in Buenos Aires - as well as a security guard/portero on duty.

Immediately on entering the apartment and facing you is the 2-story wall of glass - the most impressive feature of the apartment, giving you a view of the city skyline, and flooding the apartment with light. The kitchen is part of the open-plan main floor and separated by a counter - for setting up coffee, tea or snacks - from the main area. There is everything you need in a top-class kitchen: stove, fridge, microwave and all small appliances, and elegant black granite counters, a tiled floor and good lighting, to make meal preparation a pleasure.

Moving into the living room/dining room area the floor changes from tile to hardwood, for that luxury feel, and there is a dining table with 4 upholstered chairs, a designer light-fitting above the table, and for relaxing, and reading - and those occasional guests – a futon sofa bed. The sitting area has a large, comfortable, L-shaped sofa with a reclining section, a coffee table, and, opposite, a multi-level wall unit which is an architectural feature, (it actually has a ladder attached to reach books or treasures stored at higher levels) and which also incorporates the computer desk. All furnishings and décor are in neutral colors with some fine artwork on the walls.

Stairs lead to the spacious loft where there is a king-sized bed which features a custom-built bed head with storage space, and a console with TV, and good closet space. An elegantly tiled bathroom is off the bedroom, with tub/shower with a glass door, and a sink set on the marble counter which provides a lot of storage space, and finally, a well-lit mirror makes this the ‘master suite’. On the main floor there is a half bath, should you choose to use the futon bed for guests – or members of your family - or friends.

There are also several other apartments in the same building for larger parties, or groups, so you can all be under the same roof!
