While many hotels are located on noisy avenues, far away from BA’s most unique and interesting neighborhoods, this apartment is located on a beautiful cobblestone, tree-lined street, within walking distance to the best bars, cafes and restaurants in Buenos Aires.  It is a very spacious one bedroom apartment with over 500 sq. feet (50 sq. meters). 

The one bedroom apartment is in a brand new building and has been completely renovated into a 5 star property.  No expense was spared renovating and furnishing this apartment.   Most of the furnishings are imported from Europe or hand crafted.  Your private balcony is perched high above the green tree lined street, seven stories up, and has a custom designed cascading waterfall and wood decking.  The apartment has sliding glass doors separating the balcony area from the living room.   

The building also includes a great common area on the 10^th floor and a private rooftop deck on the 11^th Floor with a 360 degree view of Buenos Aires.  The rooftop includes an open area, a traditional Argentine parilla (barbq or grill), and a lovely swimming pool which could be used during the day to catch a tan or at night to entertain some guests. 

Adriana Montalenti, a New Yorker who is well known for interior decorating and renovations in New York, recently came down to Buenos Aires to renovate and decorate this wonderful new construction in the best part of Buenos Aires.  The apartment is located on the tree-lined, cobblestone street of Guatemala.  It is located in Palermo Soho, the small area of Palermo Viejo around Plaza Serrano , a fashionable area for some of the best fashion, design, restaurants, bars and street culture. Such well-known figures as Jorge Luis Borges and Che Guevara once lived in this area and indeed Borges first wrote poetry in the then quiet barrio. Borges's poem, "Fundacion mitica de Buenos Aires," names a typical square including Guatemala, Serrano, Paraguay, Gurruchaga. 

The apartment has a great open feeling with a white couch (ANA Design) and the dining area has a glass table with four white chairs.  The table is custom designed from the well known Argentine “Steel and Glass”.

The apartment has one bedroom.  The bedroom has a large window and closet with mirrored sliding doors.   The bedroom has a Queens Size bed with a top quality Seamen’s mattress.   The bed has been custom designed using some of the finest Eco-Crocodile Material and is covered with top quality high thread count linens.

There is a wonderful new bathroom with the most fashionable Italian Ceramic and a suspended sink.  The bathroom includes a large bathtub, a toilet and a bidet.

The kitchen is a chef’s delight and has also been completely renovated with high-end materials, such as black granite countertops.   The kitchen is furnished with everything you would find in your home, so that you can stock snacks and food from nearby Palermo groceries, or entertain guests for a dinner party.  Why settle for an impersonal and uncomfortable hotel room?
