This gorgeous light filled two bedroom, two and a half bath Penthouse sits atop a newly built brick and iron retro-styled building in stylish Palermo Soho, walking distance to numerous fantastic restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries, bookstores and transportation. The two story loft has 18 foot ceilings, with over 1000 square feet of interior living area, and a tiled wrap around exterior terrace of over 500 square feet.
The double height living room and kitchen are surrounded by floor to ceiling windows for sunlight throughout the day. Elegantly decorated with a mid-century modern aesthetic, the apartment boasts an Eames style lounge chair, Angela Adams inspired sofa, Bertoia bar chairs, Jorge Pensi aluminum terrace chairs, and numerous vintage pieces. Three spectacular large paintings by Milo Lockett, a well known Argentinean contemporary artist, hang in the kitchen.
Equipped with radiant heat flooring, the concrete first level invites your bare feet. The stairs, upper bedroom, and office area have hard wood flooring.
Both bedrooms have custom made beds. Since so much light fills each room of the apartment, blackout shades are provided in the bedrooms so that sleeping in is not problem after late Soho nights out. There are large custom installed closets for each bedroom, the downstairs one containing a security safe. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom with shower and tub, custom tile work and heavy weight 100% cotton towels. There is an additional half bath downstairs just off of the living room.
Free wireless high-speed internet access, a Phillips 37 inch LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo system, GSM cell phone with local number, and a local phone line with unlimited local phone calls are all provided.
The wrap around terrace is a perfect place to relax and enjoy evening refreshments after a day wandering in lively Palermo Soho or nearby Palermo Hollywood. The location of the loft allows for easy access to all of Soho and Hollywood by foot, and is a mere two blocks from the subway should you want to visit the famous Recoleta cemetery or other neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The Penthouse sits by itself, a full eight stories above the street, far above the traffic-- perfect for great city views and quiet nights.
