Behind an elaborate antique door in Palermo Viejo a passage way leads to this spacious and unique apartment with access through a secure door to a private courtyard with lots of greenery. The courtyard is pave with red brick and decorated with Spanish tiles and has a circular marble table and 4 chairs for al fresco dining. 2 sets of French doors open into the main living room of this house, and windows set with stained glass panels surround the courtyard. onto cool tiled floors, overhead are painted beams, all the doors are polished wood and an exposed brick wall is alongside the stairs to the loft bedroom.

The spacious main room has an L-shaped sofa, set around a coffee table and opposite a wall unit with TV and sound system. A desk with WiFi and an office chair are set at one end of the wall unit and a glass dining table with 6 white leather high-backed chairs is at the other end of the room. The kitchen is at right angles to the main room and has a wall of windows - which open for additional airflow - overlooking the courtyard. There are stainless steel appliances and a gas hob with hood over and double sink and plenty of counter space in granite and excellent lighting. There is a counter with bar stools – perhaps for enjoying a cup of coffee – alongside the windows. .

A staircase leads to the sleeping loft where there is a king size bed, a lounging chair upholstered in leather, a TV and a large, antique closet. There is a full bathroom off this bedroom, totally modern well designed and spacious. A door leads out of the sleeping area to the exterior and a wrought iron staircase takes you to the roof terrace, a private oasis in the heart of the city. The terraces area is decked and has a table and chairs for dining on meals prepared on the parrilla (the Argentine BBQ) and sun loungers are there for your day time enjoyment of the plunge pool. Two fresh water showers are provided for you to rinse off or cool off after sitting in the sun! The terrace is private and has lots of space – great for a party or a quiet night relaxing under the stars.

The décor is quiet and elegant and unique, and the furniture is designer standard and extremely comfortable. The whole apartment is decorated with art work on the walls - black and white photos by an Argentine photographer, some contemporary glass work, and some lovely antique furniture.
