Recoleta
I fell in love with this apartment ever since I first saw it. It is in a great part of Recoleta in a gorgeous French-style building. It was the penthouse apartment so it got a lot of natural sunlight. It was a good sized apartment and I knew with some renovations it would be incredible. I wasn’t wrong.
I designed a renovation for it that would utilize the private outdoor space and give it a special atmosphere.
The major renovations I performed are below:
· The floor needed replacing in part of the apartment and I had the floor replaced but preserved as much of the natural hardwood flooring as possible.
· I designed a sliding glass door in the living room to access the private balcony directly and also creating more natural sunlight during the day.
· I changed out the ugly tile outside on the terrace and put in a nice wood decking to make it more modern and give it a cleaner feel to it.
· I totally renovated the kitchen.
· I totally renovated the bathroom area and changed out all the tile and also changed out the fixtures.
· I added outdoor lighting to utilize the private terrace at night.
· I furnished it with high end modern furniture.
